Accounting entails capturing, sorting and storing financial activities on a daily basis. Accounting, however, processes this information and translates it into analysing and reporting the organization’s financial data. Whilst bookkeepers perform an entry level job by recording and storing all transactions, accountants then use this information for producing accounts, recommending decisions, and checking for legal compliance.
